SciDataUtils is built to be usable without accounts or advertising trackers. This page explains what happens when you use the platform.

Uploaded data

Data you paste or upload is processed on demand to produce the requested results.

• Data you paste or upload is processed transiently to generate the requested results and is not stored after processing.
• Uploaded data is not sold, shared, or used for profiling.
• Do not upload personal, confidential, or sensitive information.

Custom analysis requests

If you contact us for a custom analysis, you may provide data or information via email or external file transfer services.

• Data shared for custom analysis is used solely to perform the requested task.
• Data is not retained longer than necessary to complete the request.
• Users should not send personal, confidential, or regulated data unless explicitly agreed.

Logs and operational data

SciDataUtils maintains minimal server logs to ensure reliability and security.

• Logs may include request metadata such as timestamps, response times, and error information.
• We do not store IP addresses in our application logs for user identification.
• Our infrastructure providers (e.g., CDN) may process IP addresses for security and delivery.
• Log retention is limited and intended for debugging, abuse prevention, and service stability.

Analytics

We use Simple Analytics to understand aggregate platform usage and improve the tools.

• Simple Analytics does not use tracking cookies.
• Analytics are used in aggregate and are not used for profiling.
• No cross-site or behavioral tracking is performed.

Cookies

SciDataUtils does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Limited, essential cookies may be used only where required for basic platform functionality, such as rate limiting, security, session handling, or optional access/pass features.
